About the Artist

Catherine Lisle

Catherine Lisle lives in Gainesville, Florida, and received her BFA from the University of Florida. After graduating, she founded the Artitorium, a cooperatively run community art center. In 1990, she moved to San Francisco and worked in art and design for clients in the film industry and for the United Nations. After returning to Florida, she opened a nifty-thrifty art-and-vintage shop and spends her time making endlessly funky art objects - sometimes they’re dolls.
